Terms and Conditions
findnix.eu — Status: April 2026
1. Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the meta-search engine findnix.eu as well as to all paid services (advertising bookings, highlights, packages). The provider is Mirko Stahnke (phppower), Am Gaswerk 43, 59872 Meschede, Germany. The offer is under construction — a business operation will be registered as part of further development.
2. Description of Services
findnix.eu is a European meta-search engine that aggregates and presents results from multiple sources (SearXNG, Brave Search API, submitted sitemaps). The use of the search function is free of charge and does not require registration.
Additionally, the following paid services are offered:
- Starter Package — 9.00 €/month: 1 advertisement, target region DE/AT/CH
- Business Package — 49.00 €/month: up to 3 advertisements, EU-wide
- Enterprise Package — 199.00 €/month: up to 10 advertisements, all countries
- Highlight Entry — 19.00 €/month: visual highlighting of an existing search entry
All mentioned prices are net prices. Where legally required, value-added tax will be shown separately.
3. Conclusion of Contract
A contract for paid services is concluded by booking in the user dashboard and subsequent payment confirmation. By completing the booking, the user accepts these Terms and Conditions.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is made via SEPA transfer or PayPal. After the booking is received, an invoice with payment details will be sent. The service will be activated after payment is received (usually within 1–2 business days). For PayPal payments, activation occurs automatically after payment confirmation.
5. Duration and Termination
All packages can be booked monthly and can be terminated monthly. There is no minimum term. Termination can be made at any time via the user dashboard or by email to findnix@findnix.eu. An already ongoing billing period will not be refunded.
6. Advertisements — Content and Activation
Each advertisement will be manually checked before activation. The review usually takes up to 24 hours. Advertisements that violate applicable law, good morals, or the usage policies of findnix.eu will be rejected or removed — without entitlement to a refund.
Advertisements for the following are not allowed:
- Illegal products or services
- Misleading or false advertising
- Erotica, gambling (without appropriate license), weapons
- Political advertising
7. Sitemap Submission and Indexing
Users can submit sitemaps, RSS feeds, or individual URLs for indexing. Inclusion in the search index occurs after technical review and DNSBL check. There is no legal claim to indexing. findnix.eu reserves the right to remove entries without stating reasons.
8. Points System
findnix.eu operates a voluntary points system for registered users. Points are awarded for certain actions and can be exchanged for services. There is no legal claim to points or their redemption. findnix.eu reserves the right to change or discontinue the points system at any time. Accumulated points have no monetary value and cannot be paid out.
9. Disclaimer of Liability
findnix.eu is a meta-search engine. The displayed search results are provided by third parties (SearXNG, Brave Search API). We accept no liability for the content of linked external sites. The availability of the search function is not guaranteed — however, we strive for uninterrupted operation.
10. User Obligations
Users agree not to make automated requests (bots, scrapers) without explicit permission, not to provide false information during registration, and not to misuse the points system. In case of violations, findnix.eu reserves the right to block accounts and cancel bookings.
11. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
findnix.eu reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Registered users will be informed of significant changes via email. Continued use after notification of changes is considered acceptance.
12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
German law applies. The place of jurisdiction, as far as legally permissible, is Meschede (NRW), Germany.
13. Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
