CRT rescan: in-focus vs. out-of-focus, rough vs smooth

Comparing the feeling induced by in-focus and out-of-focus rescanning. These patterns were generated with a LZX Vidiot, routed into two video mixers and mixed with other signals, screened into a CRT TV, then rescanned with a camcorder. When in focus, the pixel grid of the CRT screen make them look rough, almost wooly. When out of focus (third pic), the aesthetics feel completely different (mixer feedback and luma keying are also used here). -- 2021-04-26-1-focus-non-focus
