Quote Post not preserved when replying in Mastodon (Desktop Web UI)

A quirky bug with Mastodon's Quote Post in a reply within a conversation thread? (Desktop Web UI - v1) Guide from fedi.tips: https://fedi.tips/why-cant-i-quote-other-posts-in-mastodon Disclaimer: Rendering quote post or copy link rendered fine on desktop. To reproduce: - Find any thread you wanted to reply with quote post. - Copy link from any posts you wanted to reply to. - Open the thread, click Reply - The quote post link is discarded, and a new blank reply is started Workaround: Copy the link to the clipboard first, then open the thread, paste the link into the reply box, and post it.
