One Misty Moisty Morning - A British Folk Song!

Our rendition of "One Misty Moisty Morning" based on the version by Steeleye Span Steeleye Span recorded the song "One Misty Moisty Morning" twice, first in 1972 for their album "Parcel of Rogues" and again in 2002 for their CD "Present". A live version of the song recorded for the BBC Radio 1 session hosted by John Peel in 1973 was included in the 1987 anthology "Through Bushes and Briar" and the 2003 compilation "The Harvest of Gold". Another live version recorded in 1986 was released on the Progressive Records / Park Records CD reissue of the album "Back in Line", the CD "Steeleye Span in Concert", and the double CD compilation "Spanning the Years". This version omits the fourth verse but continues into the reel "The Flowers of Edinburgh". A third live performance by Steeleye Span, recorded in Salisbury on December 16, 2002, can be found on the bootleg album "The Official Bootleg".
