The Recipe: -Preheat oven to 350 (F) -Melt 0.25 cups of butter. -Add butter to bowl with 0.25-.5 cups granulated sugar and 0.25.5 cups -brown sugar. Use 0.25 for a softer, puffier cookie. Use .5 for a flatter, chewier cookie. -Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/4 teaspoon almond extract, and 1 small egg. -Add just under 1 cup of flour, 0.25 teaspoon baking soda, and a hearty pinch of salt. -Mix until just combined and not too sticky. -Add chocolate chips to taste (but don't add too many or your cookies won't hold together. -Put baking paper on baking sheet. -Place about 1.5 tbsp of dough on the baking sheet.
