FOSS Engine Royale -- LÖVE Lap

I'm pitting 8 FOSS game engines/frameworks/libraries against each other--by making breakout in each of them with a 6-day time limit. This week is LÖVE, an open-source framework based on Lua scripting. This is clearly the best demo so far, I managed to get a ton of work done early and had time to polish and refine things a bit as a result.
