[8-Bit Cover] Ilia’s Theme | Zelda: Twilight Princess

For the main voice I used the triangle channel because it sounds kind of like a flute at high octaves, the downside is that it doesn’t allow many modifications or decorations except for vibrati which is why I considered using the FDS expansion with a triangle wave at first. In order to simulate the sound of the supporting voice, I used a volume envelope that starts loud, becomes quieter quickly and then slowly fades along with a bit of a tremolo. This creates an interesting sound with an initial attack that lingers a bit afterwards, just like in the original. Both pulse channels play the supporting voice alternately to make the most out of the lingering sounds and to prevent the overlapping lingering of the last two notes from causing a dissonance I added a faster fade as release in the volume envelope that is used on
