Howard Dryden: Save the oceans and we save the planet
Our oceans are not in very good shape. Not only are they becoming more and more acidic, but they are also losing a significant amount of endemic species every single year. Of course, we humans play a major role in this catastrophe. In Basel, Switzerland, Dr. Howard Dryden, CEO of Dryden Aqua, held a presentation called βSave the oceans and we save the planetβ. In it, he describes the major issues that are threatening marine life and therefore all life on the planet. Moreover, he gives specific examples of how humans are actually polluting the oceans, sometimes in ways they arenβt even aware of. A highly interesting speech, delivered for anybody, who is interested in preserving a life generating ecosystem, instead of turning it against us and all the other fellow occupants of beautiful planet Earth. Summary: 08:04 Why have we lost 50% of marine plants since the 1950βs? 15:16 How plastic is harming marine life 20:36 There is hope! +++ Unsere Ozeane sind nicht gerade in einem gute
