Melville Glacier calving in North West Greenland

Daily images (mostly cloud free) of a glacier in North West Greenland from March 2022 to September 2024 showing the evolution of the sea ice and build up and break down of glacier melange in front of it, note the large iceberg that regular forms and breaks off - this is a feature that is visible throughout the satellite era, suggesting a rather stable glacier front. Sentinel-2 is an optical sensor so no images are possible during the polar night or when cloudy.
