Dung and Dusted - experimental firing of replica prehistoric pottery at the University of Bradford

This short video documents one of the experimental pot firings undertaken by Drs Mike Copper and Gregg Griffin of the University of Bradford in 2023 as part of the Gerda Henkel Foundation-funded project Dung and Dusted. The pots are hand-built replicas of Early Bronze Age Beakers and the fuel used is dried sheep dung. An article detailing the full project and its results is currently close to completion, and a link for those interested will be posted as soon as it is available.
