Measuring snow density with a simple cutter and balance

I made this as guidance for a polar traveller who offered to take some observations of snow density during an expedition across the ice sheet. Maybe it's useful for someone else? A simple instructional video showing how to take a snow density sample using a cylinder snow cutter and a spring balance in a snow pit. Also includes temperature measurements.
