The Death of Mobile Games Anthony became incredibly angry for some reason and proceeded to write a video about how far mobile gaming has fallen compared to when he played as a 13 year old. I'm going to be honest with you guys. I went into this video essay convinced that games like Pocket God, Doodle Jump, Angry Birds, and Where's my Water were the superior games compared to garbage cash grabs filled with artificial wait times like Clash of Clans, but I'm not really sure how much I actually believe that. I come across as really bitter in this video and I have no idea why because I honestly never cared for mobile games that much. Honestly, I got a kick out of playing Clash of Clans and Genshin Impact seems kinda cool I guess. I'm pretty sure I just think that the current monetization model that all mobile games depend on is obnoxious and hinders the mobile gaming market and has stagnated the creative development of the market.
