Disney's California Adventure - Construction & Legacy of the Early Years

Disney's California Adventure opened in 2001 to less than glowing reviews. The park was seen as being built on the cheap compared to its historic neighbor Disneyland Park. In this episode of Legacy we take a look at the early years of California Adventure (DCA) by watching a promotional video showing the construction of the park. The park itself was built on top of Disneyland's old parking lot. After a 2007 remodel of the park, its fortunes have changed and the park is now generally seen as more successful and is well received by Disney fans. Codemic now has merchandise!
