What is Usenet?

Usenet is a collection of files distributed via different servers, which can be compared to an internet forum. Each Usenet server stores the message for a certain period, but the data is not stored in a single location. Someone sends a message to a specific channel and this message is distributed to the various newsgroup servers. In order to be able to download files, you need a Usenet reader.
