Mr. and Mrs. Ichisawa had to leave their hometown in the wake of the nuclear disaster at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant. On April 15, 2011, residents were ordered to evacuate the village of Iitate, where the couple lived. Some accuse the Japanese authorities of waiting far too long to issue the order.
