One year from Misoy's death.

One year from Misoy's death, I took Caramelo, my other dog, and went to our favorite beach in Sweden, Simrishamn. There, I wrote his name in the sand and waited for the waves to reach it. They never did reach it while I was there. This was a manifestation from the universe, that we never move on from grief. We just learn how to live with it. We can keep living while still grieving. We never move on. We always carry them with us, in us. They keep living through us.
