AI, Art, & Gentrification in the Mission District of San Franisco

Produced by students from CCSF and John O'Connell High School in San Francisco, California's Mission District. This short video explains how Artificial Intelligence harms our communities and relates to gentrification. While not the most polished and produced video, I like sharing it because it speaks to the creativity and spark of our youth when we give them the tools to be curious. Gentrification brought by Big Tech and other wealthy industries has harmed the communities of the Mission, especially our Latino and immigrant communities who have called the Mission home for centuries.
