Warmest Day of the Winter

I hope the season is treating You well! The dramatic frosty Narnia conditions of the first week of January gave way to mild weather, then even milder! The trees shed their white, snow began to melt (some kinds of spots are always quick to become bare, while others will not see bare ground till spring), puddles appeared! Rocky Mountain House reached 16C/61F, Red Deer nearer 10C/50F- we in the middle were closer to Rocky's high, but I think not quite.. Windy day- that warm Pacific air has to get blown in somehow! but not nearly as windy as the day to come (which was not nearly so warm...)
