Maman

Maman is the towering spider-sculpture by Louise Bourgeois, created in 1999 and installed at Mori Tower in Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills. Size is approximately 9×10 meters. Its bronze body cradles a sac of marble eggs, symbolising weaving, protection and her mother’s strength.
