I did some simple testing via TAS and found the following data (NOTE: Please tell me if I'm off, as I did not test this very extensively): -Do the Extended Up + B input, except towards you (so the upper left notch if facing left and the upper right notch if facing right). -After this input, you're free to input directly away and turn around. So within the first 4 frames of the Up + B animation, you must input Up + Forward, followed by directly away. This causes Mario/Luigi to get the height of the Extended Up + B from the angle and the turnaround from holding away My method of input: 1. Input B and move the control stick in the Extended Up + B angle at the same time
