You can really be yourself at Butter Fest! At first, I wasn't going to come, but it ended up being the best decision ever. P.S. Hey Butter, At first I wasn't going to come to this (surgery prepping) but I'm glad I popped my head in. Quite a few years ago, I looked for belonging in a place that never wanted me in the first place, but pretended they did on the surface level. Every weekend on Labor Day, I'm reminded of the anniversary sting. Just to join other orgs a little bit down the road to realize that they were not safe places to be either. I have a tendency to go to events on my own (only child here, I do have friends, but I crave my alone time). And fo
