Sean Listens To: The Pod, by Ween

All of the copyrights for these songs clearly belong to Ween.* Ween has been one of my favorite bands for a very long time, but most of my familiarity with them is focused on their later works, such as *[Chocolate and Cheese](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chocolate_and_Cheese)*, *[12 Golden Country Greats](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/12_Golden_Country_Greats)*, *[The Mollusk](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mollusk)*, and *[Quebec](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quebec_(album))*. I was inspired to sit down and record a listen-through of one of Ween's earliest albums, *[The Pod](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pod)*. *The Pod* is an absolute oddity. Recorded in an apartment on a Tascam four-track cassette recorder and later released on Shimmy Disc records in 1991, the album contains many of the defining qua
