Sotoserrano, also known as El Soto, is nestled in the Las Batuecas-Sierra de Francia Natural Park, at the confluence of three rivers: the Alagón, the Cuerpo de Hombre, and the Francia. It is the lowest-lying town in the province, at 508 meters above sea level. It enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate year-round.
