Testing a 40 y/o MFM ST412 10MB HDD

Every few years, I spin up, reformat and surface test my MFM collection of 9 drives. Many of these are brand new old stock that is ~40 years old !!Some of them have noisy bearings at first spinup, but quiet down once allowed to warm up fully and the lube melts/distributes. Controller is a ST11. HDD is a Seagate ST412. PC is an industrial SBC based PentiumMMX. Tunes: mechanism eight - necros/fm & mechanism eight - remix
