Learning Factories for inclusive workplaces
What if the workplace of the future could be tested before it’s built? That’s exactly what Learning Factories allow us to do — and they’re at the heart of the SkillAIbility project. In our latest video interview, we talk to our Use Case Leader, who explains how Learning Factories are more than training centers — they’re controlled environments for testing new technologies, such as augmented reality for work instructions or collaborative robots in assembly lines: employees can practice new skills safely in these environments, and then apply them directly in the workplace. At the same time, companies can witness innovations in action, like inclusive assembly systems that support older workers or people with limited digital skills. Learning Factories in SkillAIbility are not only for upskilling — they’re also powerful spaces for co-designing inclusive workplaces with real impact.
