The key to get high score on this game mode is to get as many special gems as possible, especially Star Gem, Hypercube, and Supernova Gems. Special Gems can destroy dirt with two matches. Having Special Gems can also the key to destroy tougher obstacle such as Dark Rock which cannot be destroyed by normal matches. At initial game, Diamond Mine mode have 5 gems. Having special gem is strongly recommended since the next part will have 6 gems. However, Diamond Mine has a tax bug which only adds 40% of the score. For example, a diamond which scores 25,000 points only adds score by 10,000, or a diamond with 10,000 points only adds score by 4,000.
