Dollar store illuminated tops spinning down

We keep our eye open at the local dollar store for any cheap toys that look genuinely interesting, and here's a couple spinning tops that have LEDs that light up when the top spins. Got two of them, red and green plastic. Wonder if they might have a divinatory use? (We're into magic, in a small way.)
