Where did this sample come from? This sample came from a small puddle near a stream near me. I imagined that the stiller water would be better to look at. I didn't sample the original stream so I can't tell you if I'm right. How did I get it to look like that? This lighting is a mix of oblique, darkfield, and Rhienburg illumination. Cardboard blocks light from just one side, and then colored plastic is used to color the light that comes from below vs the sides. Blue plastics colors the light from below, then yellow/red plastics colors the light coming from the side.
