In this tentative Pilot Episode of “Herpers in Hibernation, a Scales Nature Park Original Video-Podcast”, Steve Marks chats with Joe Crowley about the importance of building relationships in conservation. 
There might be more to come! The scrappiest and punkest of all, our first production! Filmed in the storage room of the Georgian Bay Turtle Hospital during a Canadian Winter made longer by the Covid-19 pandemic. 

The Host:
 Steve Marks has more than 30 years of experience in reptile conservation throughout Ontario and he is the Herpetologist Emeritus of Scales Nature Park.

 The Guest:
 Joe Crowley is a professional biologist with expertise in herpetology and species at risk conservation. He is currently a species at risk biologist with the Government of Ontario, where he has worked since 2010.
