Privacy Salon: Everyday Privacy Protecting Alternatives

Everyday we use tools to communicate and work over the Internet, even more so in the pandemic situation we are currently in. The majority of these tools are sucking up and monetising our information, but what can we do if we want to work & communicate while protecting our privacy at the same time? Following on from the discussions in the last Privacy Salon, in this edition we’ll be looking at some tools & platforms to do just that, exploring the background issues and showing how they are used in real world contexts.
