Mathias Palmersheim - Easy mode Monitoring and Logging with Shiftmon

2023 SouthEast LinuxFest - Observability can make your life way easier by allowing issues to be spotted early and communicate them using pictures. However most observability tools require a fair bit of setup or have heafty price tag and sometimes both. To solve this problem I developed Shiftmon which uses glues a bunch of great open source tools together to create and a cheap and easy to monitoring and logging stack. In the talk we will deploy shift-mon via Ansible and discuss what it does to make observability easier.
