In this video i am testing MUM on a fresh installed Garuda (arch) xfce system. MUM stands for My Update Manager - TUI - Terminal user interface I started working on MUM six months ago. I did this because I wanted to do an experiment with my sister. She is a computer nut and has no interest in it. My experience with Pamac-aur is not so good. regularly it happens that an upgrade or installation is not finished. I can solve this, but my sister cannot. Because when I work from the terminal, an upgrade or installation always works. I looked for a menu in bash. So my sister can press buttons and I can remotely monitor the scripts. I sent scripts to her via signal-messenger. She kept them and so they were updated instantly. But because Arch needs an update so often, my experiment stopped and I gave her SolydX. A stable debian distibution with far less updates. Much better for her. But because I started to find MUM interesting I continued playing with the script. - What I did is th
