Mitch Marner wasn’t the problem in Toronto

Mitch Marner is currently leading the NHL playoffs in points for the Golden Knights. He's one of the best defensive forwards in the league. But, he was oftentimes the scapegoat for underperforming Maple Leafs teams. Are we getting proof that he was actually not the problem in Toronto?
