11 Democratic Officials Arrested Trying to Access ICE Detention Cells
Federal officers arrested 11 officials in New York on Thursday, after they tried to access cells used by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency to detain migrants. Brad Lander, the city comptroller, and Jumaane D. Williams, the public advocate, were among those arrested.
