Welcome back to How It Happened. The New York Jets look like the most improved defense coming out of free agency. They started by building from the middle with a trade for former Titans nose guard T'Vondre Sweat. With their centerpiece in place, the Jets turned to free agency to fill out the rest of the unit, signing defensive end Joseph Ossai and linebacker Demario Davis. All three players fit the vision for head coach Aaron Glenn's defense and, more importantly, are sizable upgrades over the guys they are replacing.
