CD-ROM Drive Emulation on the PicoGUS!
With Ian’s latest 3.x firmware releases, the PicoGUS is now able to emulate a CD-ROM drive! IDE CD and DVD drives are getting more expensive, and reliability issues are becoming more common. Being able to emulate a CD-ROM drive with ISO and BIN/CUE images on a USB stick eliminates yet another source of moving parts in retro PCs. Join me today as I take this new feature for a spin!
