MK1869 ISA Sound Card Review
Today I’m taking a look at Edro and Leo’s new MK1869 ISA sound card! Many retro sound cards based on ESS chips were value focused and sound quality was not a priority. The MK1869 brings you all the great ESS strengths like excellent compatibility, great FM synthesis and a bug free MPU 401 combined with very clean sound output. It also gives you the ES690F wavetable chip on board, a wavetable header and more! Join me as I test out this card that ticks all the right boxes.
