Finally Some Time to Breathe and recharge in the sun | Pipe & Life Update

Just sitting in the sun on my first holiday this year, smoking the mystery "Senior" pipe and finally getting the lawn mowed for the first time this year. The mower struggled — I don't blame it. It will be a week of recharging really. Been feeling pretty drained lately and needed the time off more than I realised. Still thinking about the guy who got me into pipe smoking, who passed away recently. I bought three pipes from him — the first two pipes I ever owned — and they mean a lot more now. On a lighter note, I've got a tip that actually works for me, if you're struggling with wet tobacco or gurgling pipes — a quick dry on an old coffee warmer plate gets it ready in two or three minutes.
