Mouthpiece for doing water changes in fish fry tubs

Doing water changes twice a day for goldfish fry is no joke — especially when your siphon keeps sucking up the baby fish along with the dirty water. In this video, I walk through a simple 3D printed mouthpiece I designed in Tinkercad to solve exactly that problem. The idea is straightforward: by expanding the intake area, the suction becomes less concentrated, giving the fry a chance to swim away instead of getting vacuumed up.
