Playing elephants - Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
In this heartwarming video from the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, two adorable orphaned baby elephants, beautifully dusted in red earth, share a tender and playful moment in a peaceful woodland clearing. The ground is thickly blanketed with dry fallen leaves. One sweet calf is resting on its front knees, playfully exploring the leafy ground with its trunk. Its companion stands close by, gently nudging and leaning against the kneeling calf in a touching display of affection and friendship. They playfully jostle with the endearing clumsiness of youth. After a few moments of loving interaction, the kneeling baby slowly pushes itself back up onto all four legs to join its friend. In the background, other little elephants from their nursery herd quietly roam among the trees. Itβs a beautiful glimpse into the joyful resilience and deep bonds of these precious gentle giants.
