Elephant with bottle - Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

A heartwarming video from the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust shows a clever, dusty-red baby elephant independently feeding itself. The calf has its trunk curled back over its head, expertly balancing a large white milk bottle on its forehead so the nipple feeds directly into its mouth. Drops of milk spill as it drinks in the arid, red-dirt landscape. A keeper in a khaki coat steps in, gently helping the calf tilt the bottle for the final drops. Once finished, he removes the bottle and affectionately strokes the elephant's head, sharing a tender hug that highlights their beautiful bond. Soon, another sweet baby elephant wanders over. The caring keeper greets it with affection and helps it drink from another bottle, gently resting it against the calf's head.
