Engraving Stainless Steel

For engraving AISI304 (18/8, 18/10, V2a, A2) stainless steel, I carefully selected spindle speed, feed rate, and chip load based on material parameters and machine kinematics. The material is both hard and tough. This leads to high tool wear. Poor quality of cut can be expected when run with wrong settings or without cooling.
