A chainsaw jig in action - first test of concept

A cheap Lidl pruning chainsaw attached to a jig to make straight cuts in Larch sleepers. The jig hooks onto the sleeper and is clamped in place. The chainsaw is attached to a sled sliding on, and constrained by, two 300mm long drawer slides. It is a proof of concept to see if it would work to make safe repeated square cuts on the sleepers for making planters. If I can make it easy to use, and with the chain shrouded at all times, I will then remake it as a better tool using a DeWalt 18V chainsaw.
