Raising the screens at the Eccles construction site. 2023 Aug 02

The tower block in Eccles, Salford, has safety screens with the contractor names on. We have been wondering how and when the screens are moved upwards as the construction gets taller. We were lucky enough to have spotted it happening today so took photos and video. The tower crane takes the strain, then workers undo the fixings and the crane lifts the screen up on rails. The workers then resecure them. The lift starts at 0:38.
