Laid-on waistcoat lapel | Guide to a Bespoke Suit

This guide is an extra feature for handsewn tailored waistcoats. The laid-on lapel is the common type of lapel added to bespoke waistcoats. Common on double breasted morning waistcoats and as a stylistic addition to any other as well. I might suggest practicing a waistcoat without a lapel, learning how to make it by itself first and then adding the lapel. I don't know how easy they will be to combine for your first attempt.
