These series are: LEFT: It's Part of Me and I Share Its Fate (a line from Brian Robertson's song, When the Tide Goes Out, the Table is Set) RIGHT: The Sun Shines Bright On Every Stone (a line from the Great Silkie traditional ballad) The underpainting for this series is fractured rainbows; in this I was playing with light. After my mother died, I dreamed she showed me the sky and it was like a dome of prismatic rainbow light, making evident the beauty of the world. That dream is where this new technique comes from.
