In the first video of 2026, I'm diving into a special project: an Issue 1 ZX Spectrum motherboard that was previously upgraded into a Spectrum Plus case. This rare board includes the original 32k daughterboard, but it's failing its memory tests. Watch as I perform initial safety checks, use a thermal camera to hunt for overheating components, and desolder a faulty TMS4532 DRAM chip from the daughterboard.
