Out Of Sync (How About You?) #jamuary2021 #jamuary - day 17

10th(?) jam for #jamuary2021 Time got scarce and I dropped out for more than a week. Sadly, I will not be able to create a jam everyday anymore. Other things have more priority now. That's life. Anyways, this one is mostly an experiment with the Korg Volca Beats and the Bastl Kastl and even the Korg NTS-1 makes a small appearance. I made a patch on the Bastl Kastl and I wanted to sync this with the Korg Volca Beats. After watching a short tutorial I managed to sync them. The output of both is sent to the Korg NTS-1, which was 'controlled' via the web MIDI API in Chrome using this tool 'carp' which allows chords to be played with the arpeggiator. I recorded a thirteen minute jam yesterday and selected roughly 5 minutes from it. The result is a bit boring perhaps and feels a bit out-of-sync to me, but the process was good. I've learned more about synching this and using Web MIDI to creatively use the Korg NTS-1. Most importantly, it was fun. The video is probably the weirdest
