Sailing was fast. Passing by local fisherman. Some overcast-ed conditions. Waves are small. Wind gusty. We are sailing forward. One more time surprise in form of our windlass not working. Brush service in our DIY sailboat refit style. Hammers, screwdrivers and coffee help us fix stuck motor brush. We went through full disassembly process. Cleaning everything on the way. Smoothing brushes and commutator. Casings for brushes were tight but after some touch ups the whole mechanisms of springs, brushes and housing start to work without any hiccups. On commutator there was a spot where a spark burnt out a spot. It is a damage. But for now it's working. Coffee ! Cleanings the pads on commutator with a wooden clip. To get rid off copper dust after re sanding the surface. We put it together. Clean
