Quest Nº 5 Cut out the old bilge [Retired IOR boat refit]

Sv Oiysh is a 1985 Bruce Farr design, 40 foot, Australian build retired racing boat. We started a first major refit in October of 2019 after realizing that, what we thought was a simple case of a leaking stuffing box, was actually a much bigger issue. In this quest we cut out our old bildge which was the last part of creative destruction that was in our way before we could rebuild somewhat battered bottom of our boat.
